Campground Guidelines

At Indian Shores, we try to provide our guests with a quiet, family-oriented camping experience. To ensure everyone’s security and enjoyment of our facilities, we ask that you read and observe the following:

Alcohol consumption by persons under the age of 21 is strictly prohibited. Excessive consumption of alcohol, unruly behavior and use of profanity is cause for expulsion from Campground without refund.

Keep wildlife wild. Please don’t feed the animals.

Bath House

Please clean up after yourself. No food, smoking, drinking, eating, bathing of pets or washing dishes.

No fast or reckless riding. No riding around the bathhouse area or sidewalk. No wheel skidding. Bike riding ceases at Quiet Time (10:30PM).  (Does WI have a helmut requirement for younger riders?  I didn't think so but if they do-we should add to this)

Allowed only in designated fire sites (Wisconsin Code). Do not leave fires unattended and fully extinguish all fires before leaving. Guests failing to observe Quiet Time (10:30pm to 8:00am) will be asked to put out their campfires.

Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, outside firewood is prohibited. Please buy firewood from the Indian Shores store.

We offer trash and recycling pickup daily from your sites.  Please have your items out by your site sign by 10am daily. NO TRASH or RECYCLES can be left outside over night.  Please bring items in and put out the next day for pick-up.

If you bring a hammock, you must provide your own stand; no hammocks on trees.

Washers and dryers are available in the Campground Laundromat for your use. No Clothesline on trees; if you use one, tie it to your own equipment.

Music & noise must be kept to an appropriate level for everyone’s enjoyment. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

Maximum 2 vehicles per site. No vehicles are allowed in the campground without a vehicle pass displayed from the rearview mirror. Passes can only be obtained at the Main Lodge during business hours.

All pets must be kept on a leash and owners must clean up after them. We have waste bags set up strategically throughout the campground to facilitate cleanup.  Do not leave them unattended outside at your site. Excessive barking or disturbance may result in expulsion from Campground without refund.

Rules and hours are posted in the pool area. Pool use is for registered guests and program participants only. After hours swimming is not permitted and will result in expulsion without refund.

Quiet Time

10:30pm to 8:00am. No exceptions.  We do have staff patrolling the campground in order to keep the campground enjoyable for all.  Failure to follow requested quiet time can result in expulsion without refund.

RV & Vehicle Washing

Not allowed in the park. The front desk staff will be happy to direct you to a nearby washing facility.

Sewer Connections

Positive seals required at point of connection. If you don’t have one, we sell these in the store. Our Operations Staff verifies that all sites are in compliance.

Speed Limit

Max. Speed 5 MPH. Please drive slowly and watch for children and animals.

Must be registered with the front desk and display a temporary parking pass. To avoid Campground overcrowding, visitors may be required to park at campground central parking areas. Visitors must depart the campground no later than 10:30pm.

Waste Water

Local codes prohibit waste dumping on the ground. Collect all waste and utilize the full hook-up sites or use our dump station if in a water/electric site. We are monitored by Local Officials.
